The 63rd session of the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space was scheduled to take place from 17 to 26 June 2020 at the Vienna International Centre. The session, after careful consideration and consultations, has been postponed and will not be held as originally scheduled. The decision took into consideration the well-being of delegations and staff members.
Information has been formally communicated to States members of the Committee and observers. The Secretariat is assessing alternatives, including possibly holding the session in the second half of August 2020. Further information will be provided as the COVID-19 situation develops.
